All five en-suite rooms are luxurious and have air-conditioning and heating. In addition, the Chief Suite has a large private lounge with a fireplace, as well as a private pool. You can indulge in the lodge's spa treatments and gym, or enjoy historic stories and legends of the area often told by the rangers. Meals are served either on the main wooden deck which overlooks the dense African bush, or in the outside boma. After your evening game drive, you can have a drink in the bar with your ranger, followed by a meal expertly prepared by Lobengula Lodge's chef, or a barbecue next to a typical bush bonfire. Shamwari Lobengula Lodge is located in the verdant bush along the Bushmans River, in Shamwari Game Reserve, a malaria-free private game reserve in the Eastern Cape which has received numerous international awards, including the World's Leading Conservation Company and Game Reserve for many consecutive years.
