An exclusive and intimate safari experience, the suites of Rattray's on MalaMala each occupy its own elevated locale overlooking the Sand River where herds of game can be viewed. The delightful suites have both wooden floors and ceilings and are decorated to blend in with the wild surroundings. Guests can stretch out in luxury on the secluded wooden deck or in their private, filtered plunge pool in the private garden area and enjoy a drink whilst enjoying the sounds of the African bush around them. Dinner is served beneath the stars in a traditional reed boma under a magnificent Jackalberry tree or in the dining room overlooking the gently bubbling river. Morning and evening game drives are conducted by a qualified ranger and tracker.

The camp is located within the MalaMala Game Reserve which offers excellent game viewing as well many game related activities. Day trips can be made to the nearby scenic wonders of God's Window and the Blyde River Canyon as well as the fantastic waterfalls that grace the area. The charming town of Pilgrims Rest, where the Mac Mac pools can be viewed, is a short drive away.
