Bask beneath kaleidoscopic sunsets, and get down to the slower-paced life at Marlin Lodge. It's a place that inspires lazy afternoon siestas, or leisurely strolls beneath star-speckled heavens.

Marlin Lodge has idyllic restfulness to sate your most lesiurely desires. Built on elevated wooden stilts, the lodge overlooks the tranquil Flamingo Bay. Meandering along this bay, each of the nineteen seascape suites offers a secluded terrace and wooden walkway to silken white shores. The spacious lodgings have their own intimate style, resonating with Afro-chic elegance and refined furnishings. Earthy creams and oceanic blues are in perfect harmony with the island's ambience, and the softly lapping waves and palm-hushed winds ensure a restful night's sleep to soothe and renew. The cookery is characteristic of seafood-plentiful Mozambique, infused with the Asian and Portuguese influence of its past. You can dine in the dining room, on the beach under the stars, or in private on your terrace.

Marlin Lodge lies in the heart of Mozambique, amidst the island shoreline located on Benguerra Island, in the Bazaruto Archipelago, whose islands have been named the Crown Jewels of the Western Indian Ocean. Benguerra Island is regarded as the diamond-encrusted tiara in this chain of pristine Islands, and was originally named “Santa Antonio” by Portuguese explorers, before it was changed to “Benguerra”, the name of a local tribal chief. The island is approximately 11km in length and 5,5km wide. It lies 14km offshore from the mainland and the town of Vilanculos.
