Each cottage has a great view that stretches over rolling fynbos hills, Milkwood forests and Walker Bay. Meals consist of fish caught on the day, succulent meats and fresh home-grown vegetables that are enhanced with flavours from the lodge's herb garden. The lodge is located in Grootbos Nature Reserve, near Hermanus in the Western Cape. This coastline offers a marine experience like no other, with 350 Southern Right whales visiting the southern coast, and with up to 160 that make Walker Bay their home from June to December.
