Experience the sights and sounds of the Karoo from the lush grounds of Adley House, a four star estate built in 1905, beautifully restored for your pleasure.

Adley House is a magnificent sandstone Victorian home built in 1905 by Sidney Herbert Adley during the Ostrich Feather Boom. This beautifully furnished hotel consists of fourteen large en-suite bedrooms which have been individually decorated to make your stay a pleasant one. Enjoy the warmth of the Karoo from the quiet of our evergreen, well-kept gardens and swimming pool.

Adley House is situated on an Ostrich farm in the Karoo town of Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape. Oudtshoorn is one of the ten most popular tourist venues in South Africa with no less than four ostrich farms, the world-famous Cango Caves and the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Adley House is within walking distance of the centre of town with some of the best restaurants in the country and of course the excellent ostrich cuisine and local wines.
