Have a classic safari experience in one of the Kruger National Park's very first privately owned camps, in an area that's regarded as the best Big Five game viewing area in the Kruger Park.

The theme of Jock Safari Lodge is set by the animal classic, “Jock of the Bushveld”, a true story written by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick at the time of South Africa's first gold rush. Along with its celebrated legacy, the lodge offers stunning views, as it's ideally situated at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti Rivers, making it a desired romantic location that could be ideal for bush weddings and honeymoons. The indigenous Swazi and Shangaan cultures reflect in the style of each of the twelve private and secluded luxury suites, which is set along the rivers. The rooms and bathrooms all have views of the river. Though reflecting on yesterday's romance of a bygone era surrounded by unspoiled wilderness, the suites do have modern facilities in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including a private terrace with its own plunge pool, along with a wooden walkway to a “Sala” (outdoor lounge) overlooking the riverbed. You can also relax at The Pilgrim's Rest Spa.

It's set where the story of Jock of the Bushveld actually took place, in the southern area of the Kruger National Park, at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti Rivers, halfway between Malelane and Skukuza.
