Take a leisurely safari and stay in the beautifully-appointed tents at Baines' Camp with its hand-crafted beds, antique furniture and Thomas Baines paintings combining to create the surroundings of colonial-era luxury.

Evoking an atmosphere of classic Africa. the exclusive Baines' Camp is named after the famed nineteenth century explorer and artist, Thomas Baines. This intimate camp features only five luxurious suites set on elevated platforms in the tree line. The wide wooden decks offer expansive views over the permanent water of the Boro River and a lagoon teeming with life. The elevated suites feature a luxurious bedroom, with softly draped fabrics adding to the romantic touch of a bygone era. The four-poster beds are fully mobile, giving you the choice of slumber under star-laden skies. The main area features an oversize deck for outdoor dining and views over the lagoon, as well as a swimming pool with two salas for refreshing sunbathing.

It's set amongst the shady trees and water of the Okavango Delta, on the Boro River, in Botswana, on a private concession neighbouring the Moremi Game Reserve. A superb area for viewing all animal and bird species, you can explore it by land and water, often into the night to discover nocturnal species. The choice of activities will not end there. You can also experience unique and educational interaction with elephants.
